The happenings in the Philippines for the last two days have been a devastating horror.
Floating dead bodies can be seen around, debris are everywhere, houses destroyed and families separated from their loved ones. Death toll is expected to reached almost 10,000 already.
Indeed, at times like this, we can’t stop tears from flowing from our eyes, imagine if it was your beloved ones out there facing such calamity, and the hardest thing is that we can’t do anything physically to save that because no man can stop any calamity, only Allaah can.
Indeed, to Allaah belongs everything and to Him do we return to.
If you could have viewed the captured videos of the typhoon as it was sweeping the city of Tacloban, it would give you such goosebumps that indeed when such calamity reaches us no man can stop it but Allaah. It was so strong and there was no way to stop it, people went inside their cabinets, hid themselves in it because the wind was so strong that it blew off their roofs. Subhan’Allah.
I will never be able to describe the fear that these people had to go through during that time that the typhoon was passing by them, it was like death was infront of them and they cannot do anything but face it, they were left no other choice.
They might have survived the calamity itself but the next thing to happen was worst than any calamity, losing their beloved ones.
Indeed, I cannot fathom the pain and sorrow that this calamity has brought upon the people of the Philippines, most of those families that had been hit by this typhoon has indeed lost almost everything in their lives, both their families and their shelters.
This is really a very sad phase and hard time for Philippines. So I alongside with the millions of people in the Philippines are asking all of you to please remember the departed souls of those who died in this typhoon together with the families that had been affected with it.
May Allaah bring peace and patience to the families, and grant the people who died with Mercy and forgive them and grant them Jannah. Amin.
You may not know any of these people, but believe me, a simple du’a can bring such help to them. your du’a will mean a lot. So please have time to pray for them. in sha Allaah.
and to my Filipino brothers and sisters, you are in my du’as.
To that i say, Bangon Pilipinas, babangon rin tayo!
And indeed we ask Allaah to shelter those who have been taken away from their shelters, to send upon and provide these people with such sustenance that they are filled up and not be caused to be hungry and protect them from such illness that this drastic typhoon has left.
